Crux is a small brand that develops and manufactures products purely for mountaineering: rucksacks, tends, sleeping bags, down clothing and waterproof shells. Each of our product ranges are quite small – usually only half a dozen styles at most – as we target only climbing and near-related activities. Why?

Because mountains are our passion, not just for their immense majesty and beauty, in starlight or storm, or for the challenges we find in them, be it on rock or ice, on ascent or descent, but for the world they are in themselves, the world they transport us away from, and the world we find within ourselves there.
